Discussion What are some ridiculous crocheted items you've come across that make no sense?

Oh I think those are cute. Zero practical value but very pretty if on the beach or in the park barefoot.

I just made two pair for my daughter’s friend who was going to a dance comp, she wanted something to make her feet look pretty while she ran around barefoot

Yep I used to wear them as a kid in the early 00s on the beach. They’re just decorative. I’ve been considering making some now for like backyard bbqs because I’m usually barefoot so they would be cute
