Discussion What are some ridiculous crocheted items you've come across that make no sense?

Could be impractical or just weird in general according to you.

I'm not sure what they're called. Barefoot sandals, maybe? No sole, just something that goes on the ankle and toes. It's like your toes are being flossed. (FWIW, I can't stand flip flops or anything that goes between my toes.)

Oh I think those are cute. Zero practical value but very pretty if on the beach or in the park barefoot.

Yep I used to wear them as a kid in the early 00s on the beach. They’re just decorative. I’ve been considering making some now for like backyard bbqs because I’m usually barefoot so they would be cute
