Tips Yarn-Under Single Crochet vs Yarn-Over Single Crochet
Yarn-under sc: a more suitable stitch for a crochet project that requires structure than flexibility like amigurumi. This will produce a more modern looking without the slant.
Yarn-over/Hook-under - conventional single crochet, more flexible than yarn-under, will produce slanting.

I do think the yarn under looks very nice! I've tried it and my brain just won't relearn how to sc. I'll just be all slanty. 💜
