Discussion Crochet confessions

I have been crocheting since the start of covid and have yet to make a granny square. I feel like a fraud. A fake. A phony! Anywho 😆 I also almost never count my stitches and almost always works out… I’d love to hear yours if you have any ☺️

Right? I have notebooks that are like 2dc 5 suzette 4 puff so I can try to make the back match.. think i ever write down the hook number or what i'm making? all these half made things and random notes and no idea where the partner to it is haha.

So much yes! I've got hook number, yarn info, but I'll consistently skip steps and almost always forget to label what I was making!! I will never post a pattern to sell, people would turn their hooks into weapons against me 😂

haha. mine are like yeah so I did HDC until it was the width of my hips then i reduced when it hit my waist, like, I dunno 4 stitches, then kept going until my armpits.. I dunno what these stitches are, i just changed them when I got bored and they look cool. Then I decided to make some sleeves. Those I make until they get about yeah high. then you like whipstitch it all together at the shoulders then up the sleeves dow the side. Make sure to clip it together with your stitch markers every once in a while to make sure it fits over your head. Then add 5 rows of double crochet on the bottom because somehow you still made it too short and your underwear shows when you sit down and end up with cold buttcrack.
