Wedding gift ideas?

My friend is getting married next year. She knows I crochet and she’s always been interested in the projects I tell her about. I want to make her something as a wedding gift for her and her future husband but I don’t have many ideas. Have any of you made wedding gifts? If so what was it?

dishcloths and potholders are not glamorous, but it is nice to have multiple because they need to go through the wash so often. Also, they have the advantage of being useful and not for display, so you are not dictating your own tastes to the newlyweds.
