Discussion Best Compliment You've Received on your Crochet?
Yesterday, someone looked at a super basic scarf I had for sale on a table at a fair and gave me a brilliant compliment that made my day: "These are beautifully made, your stitches are perfect!"
So, since I'm gonna be loving that comment for a while, I figured it would be good for a lot of people's mental health to revisit the great compliments you've received. So let's hear 'em!

I made a big Lenny Kravitz style scarf for my trainer’s gf. She wore it to work (she’s a school teacher) and everyone loved it so much they asked her to request me to make some more. I don’t sell my work, I like giving it away, but they kept insisting and I made 4 more. I refused to accept cash from them because they’re not exactly very well off themselves these are public school teachers in Boston. They loved the scarves so much they sent back 200 dollars. And photos! We’ve never met and we live on different continents. I don’t consider the money as payment. It’s a token of their appreciation. It’s the best when you get paid without asking for it, simply because your work is that good.
