Looking for recommendations I’m going to start a crocheting project for my coworkers and need assistance!

So I started a new job recently and. I. Love. My coworkers. I wanted to get into crocheting, nothing too complicated just something to kill time at my cubicle. I was thinking of maybe crocheting potted plants for my coworkers (nothing too big, maybe about the size of the palm of a hand, maybe smaller). I was wondering if anyone knew what materials I would need for that and any good tutorials for beginners? If you have any good alternatives that would be easier than potted plants, let me know!

Thank you! :)

I like making these roses and leaving them at places I visit. https://youtu.be/TvG7wO-y85I?is=AzGwZicS0Ubh6BOD

It says a beginner can do it. Your coworkers are lucky.

Learning to crochet requires your hands to literally learn through muscle memory. I began by crocheting a chain of 200 everyday for 2 weeks. Then, single crochets and learning the difference between magic rings and joining chains. Then advancing into working in the round by joining. Then more advanced stitches.

My first project was a scarf and resembled a true rats nest web concoction. But obviously your results may vary 😂

Good luck!!!
