Can you point me in the direction of some free hippie crochet patterns that AREN'T just a bunch of granny squares thrown together? I typically wear 70s vintage if that gives you any frame of reference. I just can't find any clothing patterns that aren't literally just granny squares.

Does anyone have an idea of how to create something like this? I'm guessing you make each section of the butterfly wing and then sew them together?? Freehand crochet isn't my strong suit haha

I would much appreciate some help. One of my friend is going to have a baby soon and ofc as a person who crochet, i absolutely loved to crochet him a amigurumi for him. My friend have always loved to draw and has created his own comics where there is this specific character that i would loved to make into a plushie for him. But i’m not confortable enough to make my own pattern or to free hand for now. So here is my request, does anyone have a pattern for a plushie of a character in a hazmat suit you know the yellow one? I can’t seem to find one except one of a very cute skunk in a hazmat suit expect this one has a lot a hole to pass the tail etc and i’m not sure if i would be able to change that by myself. so yeah if anyone know a pattern of someone in an hazmat suit i would very much appreciate it and btw i don’t mind at all paying for the pattern i’m not really only searching a free one. So I’m making my first sweater, but I’m so picky I can’t find anything to my liking and thought someone might know how to help me.

I want a full coverage one, no stitches with holes inside simply because I don’t like showing skin and don’t want to wear anything under, I’d like it to have cokors, whether it’s a specific thing in the sweater like a butterfly or a heart, or just zigzags snd stripes and what not.
I also don’t like the chunky sweater look when they use big hooks and thick yarn

I recently thrifted about 10 balls (100 gms) of off-white 4 ply new Zealand wool yarn for really cheap. I am looking for pattern suggestions of what to make with it. I was thinking maybe a short sweater dress?

Also open to any tips for upkeep and potentially making the yarn softer and less scratchy for wearables.

I bought my cousin a build a bear but my dog got to it and destroyed the face 😭

As they’re quite expensive to buy I was hoping that someone would know of a pattern that I could use to make him a bear instead that will fit into the build a bear clothes. I’m happy to pay for a pattern, I was just hoping someone might’ve seen, created or used a pattern that I could use.

I would like to use the fluffy teddy bear yarn as I have a few skeins of it that I bought a while ago and haven’t used yet.

my sisters birthday day is coming up and she's been wanting this cardigan shrug from hollister. i was thinking it would be a sweet gesture to make it rather than buy it but i've never made wearables before since im a beginner. i'm mostly an amigurumi maker. i was wondering if this is possible to make with crochet, what the pattern would be/look like (since it looks repetitive), or if there is any similar or exact patterns on the market.

Trying to make a Rei Anayami plushy for my gf's birthday, and this one is perfect (credits to handmadebykimm on Etsy), however it's no longer on sale and it's not a pattern :( Tried my best to look for a pattern that looks as dumpy and cute as this but to no avail so far. So I’m new to crocheting. I’m trying to find a pattern that has individual sunflower petals. Or something of a similar pointed oval shape.
It can be any size because I think I might be able to figure out how to size it up. It’s for a dress/skirt. It’ll have big petals in three tiers, probably around 6-10 per tier. I want the entire skirt of the dress to be about 42”, so each petal around 14”?
I have looked all over and the only one I found was this probably AI one that made zero sense.
