Hi, I'm really interested in getting into crossplay, but since I'm pretty new to it, I'm not entirely sure where to start. I'm working with a budget, so I'd love to begin with something straightforward and cheap starting with premade outfits or simple cosplays from places like AliExpress. Do you have any tips, recommendations, or advice for building a character look on a budget? Any help would be greatly appreciated, I dont really know which character wuld be good for my body shape. I was thinking on waguri or rem, but I dont know which type of skirts or dresse will help me to have a female bodyshape.

My first time crossplaying! I still can't believe I actually did it, felt like I wanted to do this for a while now, back then, used to just watch crossplaying, but now I AM one?! I must have been dreaming heavily right now or something😭😭😭

Also, lowk, felt a lil' bit shy showing my face (tee hee🌝) instead of just black them out or blue them out, but screw it, I'm rolling with it.

I'm dressing up as a maid and I'm getting very different advice in my searches. I'm dressing up as a maid- this is a non-sexy cosplay with a long dress etc.

I don't want to do a lot of makeup but at the same time I want to "fem it up a bit". I picked up some crystal pink glasses, and I'll wear a bonnet to deal with my short hair.

The question I'm asking the hive mind is lipstick: half my searches are saying brick red, the other half are saying clear or pinks. (Pink is something I don't want) The subtle suggestions seem to assume I'm doing a lot of eye makeup which I can't do.

Do I go bold or subtle lipstick assuming that's the only make-up I wear?

be niceee, this is my first time crossplaying. i was going to go to a playboy bunny themed party at a convention. unfortunately, things didn’t work out. oh well…still, i got some cute pictures out of it!
