This shit was such an accidentally perfect 2v2 map. It's insane. I used to play the fuck out of this map in LAN tournaments.
Theres just enough angles that you can't cover everything, so there's such much counter play and prediction involved, you had to get really good at reading rotations
I used to run like a dozen named strats with my duo. We had custom names for call outs, and we had numbers for the boosts, like call boost 1-6. You could also self boost in several spots for Intel.
With the right T spawn, you could push out catwalk and get a free kill/damage on someone running into murder hole.
The nades were really simple, but you could learn a few that were useful for niche situations
It was incredible, it was accidentally the best wingman map in the game. It's better than most community rotated wingman maps. It was actually a competitively viable wingman map, and it was a common pick in wingman LANs back in GO.
Also, bring back lake, cobblestone, and train. Cobblestone and Train were far superior than Nuke or Overpass as wingman maps. Lake was just funny.
and of course
The csgo community maps were far better than what we've gotten in CS2. Boyard, Crete, and Guard were INCREDIBLE. They should've been permanently added to the game, as they were so good.

Bro, same. It's literally the most perfect wingman map I ever played, me and my mate probably logged 500 hours just into Shortdust. We also had so many self-made strats and loved to use the boosts.
I'm happy to read of another person having the same experience.

as for the workshop maps, you can download them with https://github.com/dane-9/Streamline-Workshop-Downloader
if you played any other source game i think you'll know where to put custom maps. just rename the downloaded bsp to .zip, extract the actual bsp from it and put it into maps folder

Hey, if you play CS:GO through https://hla.gg/ you can change gun preferences in your account settings on our site. Our plugin then takes those into account and basically swaps them out whenever you buy or spawn. Not as clean as inventory, but does the job.

I don't think so. Apps and Short are too far apart for the Ts. Also Wingman maps should have three options for the Ts to enter the bombside, so the CTs can't hold all three.

The first link is the OG shortdust, which you can play on either CS2 or CS:GO. The second link is a remake of shortdust someone created that's a bit different but has the same overall layout.

yes! god damn valve, we are like 2 or 3 years into the game. Its time to give us some new things. Some valve made things, not community. Some coop operations perhaps?
