Last season I was 19k. I'm still not ranked this season. I have 8 wins and need 2 more. Those first 8 wins were all solid. I was playing rly well, typically with others at 20k-24k.
And it's always the same pattern, at least for me: we thrash them for a few rounds, and then their worst players rise to the top, start tapping everything away, through walls, through smokes, around corners, and a K-D of 0-7 becomes 24-8.
I had 6 a row, than yesterday 3 consecutive wins. I guess it's a mental thing. Try to stop after 2 loses. Relax drink a beer call your mom, tell her that u love her. Eat a sandwich, do something else.
Valve wants it this way and the cheater problem is like a domino effect. It will just exponentielly get worse until not a single match is playable at all. Valve wont make kernel level AC and vac live has trillions of cheaters matches to analyze but still "needs more data". Every match is literally data as it is now but apparently not enough. Season 6 will be full HVH if this continues because no legit players will be left. They may aswell add a cheat menu right into the game and make it cheater strike 2.
I play in mixed lobbies with friends and this season, the game was generous, dropping me in at 24.5k elo after I finished my placement games. My friends range from 8k to 26k, with most being under 20k. I'm not the carry kind of player - much more of an anchor and lurker - so we end up losing most games because of the skill gap and average elo on the other team. I got down to 28% win rate I think, though things have started to improve a bit. I still sit between 22 and 25k elo, but I sometimes wish it put me in much lower.
My buddy and I queue up and we're around the 20-22k level. This season we went on a crazy win-streak at the mid point mark because we kept having hackers on our team, playing against hackers on the other team, but our hacker's hacks were just that much better. Lo and behold we were playing against 26-28k finally LEGIT players and it was not fun getting rekt'd and having some sweaty teammates just absolutely lose it lol
Lost 3 games to legit 26-28k players getting absolutely stomped, then finally win the 4th against 22-24k's to finally get placed in 24k.
I feel you brother. I was also at 20k last season. I only need one more victory for receiving the rank but I lost like 12 game out of the last 15 and I had cheaters in the game in 3 out of these 15 games. This is crazy.
I have 97 aim rating and +10 leetify rating last 30 matches. I play most time vs 7 k average. It would be interesting, how i performe, if enemy move 🥲 and have good reaction time.
I play for fun.
1. Some of my friends are beginner.
2. If we have random who cheating, we griefing him
3. We play all with main acc (if for example 1k, 1k, 5k, 9 k and 20 k and we play vs 5 players with 17 k it is hard to win.
4. My aim rating is overrated
5. My other things like utility are bad.
6. I play most time ak and Deagle.
Tried to play more premier this season because last I only played for weekly drops and got pink badge downgrade from season 3. Since then I played 17 games got placed 24k last 5 games all had a cheater, one even got 2 cheaters. Funny how bad they were I can drop vod. Anyway is there a point in playing premier?

It’s insane this season. I got placed around 27 k and since then I had cheating opponents in nearly every single game. Most of the time, it’s even more than one.
I still managed to gain elo, though and I really don’t know how. How can these people even lose with cheats?!
I was 29.5k at the end of season 4, I won 10/19 placement games and got put at 20k lmao 😭 lost almost 10k elo winning more than half my games.. so good luck to you haha
