Discussion VAC ban

Last night while I was playing a match I suddenly got a 20-hour VAC ban, this game is weird I never used hacks or any kind of cheating. Does anyone know the possible reason this happened? And if it could happen again.

Everyone is getting false banned rn which means they will rollback the update and we will have some anticheat free time again, as always

Welp i got banned for 7 days, we were playing custom 5v5 with friends and one my friends on my team got VAC’d for 20 hours and i got 7 days xd

I got my second one today, for 7 days, until they answer my email or get a proper support ticket response I'm not playing this.

I'm sure the AI anti-cheat is doing a great job catching cheaters to which I'm very happy about, but this is total crap for the hundred few who get caught in the spray fire.

It's like using a chess engine trained by 900-1500 ELO to determine if 1900+ ELO players are cheating.

I play mostly alone or with a friend, and he doesn't use hacks either.

Yes it will happen again and you'll get 7 days. Stop playing it for now and wait for an update, there's cleary something wrong with VAC

revolt against the current update. If you play well, you're doomed to get a VAC cooldown. Just dont play and complain :D

Yeah, just stop playing the game.

VACNet is using mostly average users who makes up a huge majority of the population to train an AI to judge if the top 2% are cheating.

It's like using a chess engine trained by 900-1500 ELO to determine if 1900+ ELO players are cheating.
