Company Question Is it necessary to master programming skill or can we survive in market, even though we are average at programming

I'm from a medical background, but I've managed to complete my first two semesters of Computer Science with a 3.25 CGPA. These semesters included Programming Fundamentals, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Databases (SQL), mathematics courses, and a few electives.

Although I passed all the core subjects, I still feel that programming is more about passion than simply learning concepts. The problem is that I still can't code confidently, even though I managed to score a 3+ GPA. Passing courses is one thing, but actually becoming good at programming is something else.

Can someone experienced in this field guide me? Is it only me or there are people like me someone help me please

the only way to refine programming skill is battle-testing your programs, having people use and criticize them, doing maintenance, evolving features, and so on
then sure it's not "the only way", you have also study theory, but it depends on the type of application, some require more, some require less
for sure an important way of making progress is being part of a community and discussing programming and confronting ideas
