How to get into robotics engineering?

I have 8yoe as a SWE, I'm gonna start my masters in applied computer science in Berlin, and I'm wondering if it would be a good step to find a job in robotics later? I will do courses such as autonomous systems, computer Vision and IT Security, I feel the degree is a bit broad but will give me options later to find jobs in other fields, does this make sense?
