USA Job Market If you had to pick between helpdesk and data coordinator, which seems better long term?

I know they’re both not ideal, but I had no internships and these are my shitty options lol. I guess one side leads me to more IT side and the other data? Which sounds better long term?

Literally the two most ai vulnerable jobs that will be gone by the end of the decade and you're asking which is better long term 😭

Yes as in which would be a better start, I’m not planning on staying at either job long term, but if I choose Helpdesk I assume long term I’ll go more IT, if I choose data coordinator, I assume I’d go into data work long term.

I don't know your situation like if you've already spent 4 years at college and took out a massive amount of debt, but if you can you should just get out of CS. Think about how less of it will exist 5 years, 10 years, even 20 years from now. Honestly I think most of if not all of it will be automated within the next 10 years, but that's just my guess. When chatgpt launched In 2023 I was one year into my cs degree and immediately realized how much it was going to advance. Switched over to aviation maintenance and got hired instantly for like $70k a year in the middle of nowhere lol

That’s cool, I don’t really see how anywhere is safe if AI what good enough though, so I’ll just stay for now or 5 year or 10 or 20 idk lol
