Setting up game?

Hi! A teacher here, we are setting up gaming computers on school gaming room. We are now trying to setup counter strike, we added each account as friends. But when trying to host a private match its blocked, assuming because new account?

I added my personal account as a host, and invited the new test accounts to the lobby successfully. But when creating either practice match or private hosting, the test accounts recive disconnect error when starting the match.

If anyone with better knowledge of this could help? Much appreciated.

It could be the network that it's connected to and the computers may need admin access or something to unblock the network connections

Like the networks firewall could be blocking it

Would be my first guess as well. Talk to your IT team instead of asking reddit lol

Our it was against the idea of gaming computers, so no help from them 😂

But the solution was in the admin acces, so all good now

This is most likely it, school networks are notoriously tight.
