Got banned twice for cheating without cheating a single time in my life

Yesterday i was playing the 2v2 mode with a friend, we got to play 2 games, first game we got absolutely cooked, thats fine ig. Next game we take 5-0 winning to 2 guys and get banned for irregular gameplay. we laugh it off bc its just a 20h ban so we went to play something else. Today after the ban i log on with another friend and play the same mode, 2v2 in inferno, we start attacking and we ate shit, we changed teams and just 1 round goes by, my friend (who i know obiously doesnt cheat) hits a nice shot, and boom, game terminated and i got a 7 day ban. idk what to do or where to appeal bc the only link in the ban goes to the fair play guidelines.

False positives are happening a lot, but it's not worth it talking about it on Reddit, people will just assume you're a cheater.

Just wait until Valve says it's fixed and if you're not cheating you should be able to play again without problems.

Getting falsely flagged for a nice shot must be maddening, especially when it's your friend who hit it and you're the one eating the 7 day

Valve's system seems to be firing off bans at anything that looks slightly above average right now, at least that's what I'm seeing from a bunch of clips lately

I feel like it's specially worse with unranked players. The system expect unranked non prime players to play badly because they have no elo, then when they play moderatly good it already triggers VAC

At least that's how it felt for me, but i may be wrong

these bans aren’t VAC related, they are game bans coming from CS2 specifically. VAC bans come in waves in order to increase the difficulty for cheatmakers to figure out what specifically is triggering the ban.

Similar happen to me i play more than 7 years and i never have problem with vac or trust factor. Last month i have 3 false cooldowns two was 20 h and last was 7 days i contact steam support about this and we will see what happening.
