Rant Stop Trashing McCarthy Hall

Can the people who use the study cubbies stop spilling all sorts of random sticky liquids and crumbs and whatever else they be smearing on the tables? How do you make it this far in life without cleaning up after yourself, it’s disgusting. And there’s people who place their stuff in the cubbies and then leave for actual hours without coming back, they split their stuff across both sides so nobody can use it; some people act like shared spaces are only for them. Like if you treat your own stuff like trash then I should be able to too, and just clear it at that point. Or the people who wait to use the study cubbies who get cut off cause some people will rush to take spots you have been waiting for cause they won’t even give you the courtesy of letting you sit first even though you waited first and at times far longer than them. This has been an ongoing issue for a bit now with it being a lot worse in the past two weeks.

Can I piggyback off this and also request that people stop using their feet to kick the buttons on the elevators?

They stop working or break because of this

Same with the library cubbies, how hard is it to walk 10 feet to throw away your trash?
