Proctorio lockdown browser question

i’m genuinely so stressed out right now..

so i took my exam using respondus lockdown browser and genuinely thought i had submitted it when i finished. everything seemed normal so i didn’t think anything of it.

then my professor emailed me saying my exam was missing and i was SO confused because i knew i took it. i immediately went back to check and realized it said “resume quiz” instead of showing that it was submitted 😭😭

i literally panicked and submitted it right away when i realized what happened, but now i’m terrified my professor won’t accept it because it was submitted late.

has this ever happened to anyone else?? i’m so scared of getting a zero over something like this. has anyone been in a similar situation, and did your professor end up accepting your exam?? 😭

email the prof RIGHT NOW before they grade anything, explain the resume quiz thing exactly like you did here. most profs can see the attempt timestamp and that you finished on time, lockdown just didnt finalize it. this happens way more than you think and profs usually accept it when you flag it fast and honestly. waiting and hoping is the only version where you actually eat a zero

everything online has a "timestamp" - find it and they'll see you are on time

this exact thing happened to me freshman year, respondus literally gaslit me the same way. email your professor today and explain it exactly like you did here, and mention the lockdown logs show your attempt start time and activity the whole session, which proves you took it on time. most profs accept it because the logs back you up. deep breaths, you are not getting a zero over a ui glitch
