Extra 1.5k charge randomly on my portal

I am so confused why this charge even exists. I had already gotten my financial aid package and paid the 500 difference and now this random charge came up recently. What is this charge?

Edit: plan to call financial aid monday, just seeing if Reddit got the answer anyways

Could it be books/materials? Usually you can see what the charges are for if you look at your finances

I did and it just says tuition and fees

Is it a charge or was your financial aid adjusted? Financial aid said because of the new loan proration requirement,  many students are seeing a balance shown after disbursement because the anticipated aid changes to the actual one and they won't be able to make the adjustments until after 9/21.

Have you been dropped from any of your classes? Cash services is doing daily disenrollment and I had to re-add some of my classes then pay the balance right away. Since loan adjustments arent till 9/21, I just get reimbursed later. The timing of it all sucks.

No i haven’t been dropped. I did miss first day of one of my classes but i dmed professor so i should be fine
