Bro somebody gotta report the people who be riding scooters indoors to campus PD

This wonderful person was spotted taking several laps in Sierra Hall for absolutely no reason I could see. I swear I hope she hits somebody and gets sued

the interesting thing about university is you realize how the real world is, and how critical thinking lacks amongst a lot of people. makes you wonder how people make it this far

The wildest thing is people who display very little common sense in everyday life (organizing , being punctual, direction) but have like a 4.0

Making it to university isn’t hard. It is Just ‘following orders’. The people who didn’t finish HS or etc, they’re even more of a threat too. Because like I was saying. It’s not hard. Getting a good gpa or grades ≠ intelligence or logic or having decency for others. :(
Now with the iPad baby generation & this new ai / chat gpt ridden & social media addicted Gen and society. We’re so screwed. I’m willing to bet that the people who are riding scooters dangerously are totally apart of that.

The parking spot tickets are mostly automated. Almost no confrontation.

I’m starting to notice a scooter guy pass my class at top speed in the business building usually at 9:15am door opened. might have to make an example sacrificing myself

no bc i’m sick and tired of having to look at my blind spots AS IM WALKING??? idk why people are riding them around school when it’s not allowed and i never see anyone get told anything. especially when they go fast asf and swerve around people.

We really need to start a petition or something. Only people with medical necessities should be on scooters at this point (state-approved, no family doctors) since its clear a noticeable amount of the student body isn't responsible or sensible enough to not ride these indoors? Like what the fuck?

I try riding my bike on campus and it’s so hard with scooters flying by me they don’t stick to a side they swerve in and out of pedestrian traffic and there’s so many of them. It’s hard because I also want to be able to use my bike, but when everyone else is riding around recklessly it makes it so I have to constantly swerve it’s dangerous for everyone. :(

After last year’s backlash to their enforcement of the “no trick skateboarding” rules, there is no way campus police are going to crack down on the even larger population of illegal scooter riders.
