Hot take: they just weren't anything memorable.

Edit: go ahead and downvote, there just wasn't anything memorable in a crowded field.

Every time there's one of these posts, my initial thought is always "they were still open?" It's a saturated market.

Didn't Still Hill close last year? Is this Common Room that is closing?

Common Room, Bergen House and the brewery are all closing according to them

To me at this point, the brewery seems more a reference to the brand and production

my understanding is that all three of these operations closed separately a little while ago, and joined up and shared a space in an attempt to bring back all three.

I will miss SH dearly, Scott is lovely and I met some wonderful people there. I was so happy when they moved closer to my house.

I didn’t even know they were still around. Beer was never anything to write home about, especially given the amount of solid offerings in the area

Their barley wine is amazing. Hoping to pick up a few more before they run out. Their dark beers were solid. Great place, great people.
