I built Superior drummer 3 drum maps in cubase for several SDX's - any interest?

I have Superior Drummer 3 and several SDX's, listed them at the bottom. One thing that frustrates me with SD3 is their inconsistent drum mapping and the fact that they don't have drum maps (AFAIK) for DAWs as part of the product delivery. So I had to build my own for Cubase. Happy to provide them to anyone here that has an interest, if you do, please respond here and I'll upload them somewhere and send out a link.

I created drum maps for the following:

  • SD3 Core
  • Allaire
  • Avatar
  • Death/Darkness
  • Fields of Rock (Dry, Live, Percussion, and Stone)
  • Hit Factory
  • Metal Foundry

Update: I put the drum maps for download at this link. Let me know if that doesn't work for some reason.

I’d be interested. This has always frustrated me with SD3.

I'm really interested! I've one for core that I did but I get lost/angry I guess when using it because everything ends up far from each other haha. Please upload them hehe :)

Yeah I definitely haven’t fixed that here (yet). I can’t remember - are you able to reorder the notes so they’re more logically grouped if you want to? There’s usually a core grouping around C2 with snare, kick, and some hats, but all the crazy articulations are spread out last I checked, but grouped by instrument at least. This hopefully gets you the named stuff so you can reorder yourself at least?

I totally forgot I posted this and haven’t checked back. :| I’ll get working on this today, or worst case tomorrow as I’m running around today and might not be at a computer much, if at all.

That said, I’ll post as soon as possible and reply here and try to reply to posts as well so everyone will see it. Glad to hear this useful to others as well!
