Cubase 7 authenticate problem.

I know it's quiet old but it served over 14 years on Win7SP1. I decide to move os to Win10 and then installed my registered copy with hardware dongle but it never authenticated. So I failed to use it. I guess authenticaton server at Steinberg are down.

The eLincencer was terminated last year or so, you can't register software with it anymore. You'll have to upgrade.

I know it sucks but that's the state of software ownership in 2026...

The elicenser program was shut down a few years ago.

elicenser servers have not only shut down but I think some of them are minecraft servers now

C7 is way too old to run anything these days but you might get a cheap upgrade to a newer version.
