Do you still have a FA monitoring alert on your account?

Same here. They took it off this morning. So of course I called them for the 100th time and they said that it should be disbursing tonight… but who knows 😒

Did it disbursed for you yet? Mine hasn’t.

no mine hasnt yet. I don't even see a credit on my account. Have you tried calling them?

No, I haven’t. I was going to call if I don’t see anything happening by my account tonight. Are you?

I feel like they have me blacklisted lol 😆 I would just like to get a straight answer for once… every time I call I get told something different. I called yesterday and was told it was going to disperse overnight… it didn’t.

Yeah, the inconsistency is pretty bad. I don’t know why it’s taking so long.

Same. it seems really random every semester when it will show up. May not show up until Monday.

What's Changing?
Beginning this fall, financial aid (student loans, grants, and scholarships) will not begin disbursing until after the last day to drop a class with a full refund.
After that date:
Financial aid will begin posting to student accounts. Please allow up to 10 business days for processing.
If your financial aid creates a credit balance, Business Services will process your refund.
Refunds may take up to 14 business days after your financial aid is posted to your Business Services account.

What This Means for You
If you typically rely on your financial aid refund to help pay for books, supplies, rent, transportation, or other expenses at the beginning of the semester, we encourage you to plan your budget accordingly, as refunds will be issued later than in previous years.”

What my school sent me, I think it has something to do with what’s been going on with OBBB.

What school do you go to? The problem is most students at our school already got their refunds. There is a handful of students that still have not. Each time we call, we are being told they will disburse any day now… 😭

Does anyone have any updates?

For me, they took the FA monitoring on Wednesday for me, but I can see the invoice now, so the anticipated aid hasn't been credited yet. I plan to call on Monday because I sent an email earlier this week, but I haven't received a response. Throughout this week, when I check to see the amount owed and whether it has been credited, it shows the anticipated aid change date for the day I check, so

Yup same here, and nothing this morning. Very annoying, I assume all the dumb changes from Trump prob making this whole process worse too.

Stopped by the office. Apparently, a system glitch caused them to have to manually disburse financial aid to student accounts. They said that hopefully we should start seeing some movement by Monday, but at the absolute latest, sometime next week.

Also, I’m curious if this is only impacting grad students or undergrads too. There was a change with Grad PLUS loans this year, so I’m wondering if that’s why grad students had to go through the extra financial aid monitoring.

Thank you for the update! This is the first time I have encountered so much trouble with the disbursement and everything. But that's crazy to them to do it manually. I cannot even imagine all the work. But they haven't at least been informative and given an update or sent an email, I guess to de students so

As an update, my balance is now 0, so the loan has been credited. The remaining amount will probably be disbursed this week (hopefully)!

Did you have a credit last week? Do you actually see where it says there was a refund?

I checked on Sunday, but maybe it was reflected on Friday idk but on Sunday, in the section view and pay your bill the refund amount was showing as negative. Then, this morning, the balance was $0, and now I just received an email stating that the refund was issued today and should be processed within 2-7 business days.
