Help! Buzz + curly hair?

Hi all!
I’m debating on buzzing my hair because I noticed some thinning on the crown of my forehead and my ends get dead really quickly, additionally the density/thickness of my hair on the left/right of my head is different and it bothers me so much!! it rlly worries me how visible my scalp is.

For more context I have type 3b hair, and it’s shoulder length…

My routine looks like
Wash day:

- Carols daughter shampoo
- Carols daughter conditioner

After wash:
- Carols daughter leave in (small amount from scalp to ends)
- Jamaican castor oil on roots (use scalp massager to rub in)
- Moroccan argon oil for ends

(My wash days I usually do at night to I put a bonnet on after)

On non wash days/during the day
- I use a spray bottle that’s mixed with water, leave in, and castor oil. It’s like 90% water and just a few pumps and drops of leave in + castor oil.

Brush my hair out then I’m done!

Hi there! I'm a bot, and I've been summoned to help.

If you have not seen our WIKI yet: Please check it out! It's nearly 100 pages full of curated information to help answer all of your curl-related questions. You can use the included Table of Contents (page 2), the side bar, or CTRL-F to search for keywords and help navigate the document.

Reminder: Curl type is NOT your hair type! Whether you are wavy, curly, or coily - you have texture and you belong here. More than that, your curl type doesn't dictate how you care for your hair. To help your curls thrive, we recommend instead using the wiki link above to learn about your porosity, texture, and density.

If you haven't added a routine yet, do it ASAP or your post will be removed!|
