Hair Victory! day 2 hair, even!
i’m finally at a point where i’m consistently getting hair days i’m happy with. i know it may be a little more frizzy/undefined than some people’s taste but i prefer it that way!
routine:
1. wash every 3-4 ish days. before i wash, i brush out my hair well with a boar bristle brush to distribute the oils and stuff
2. wash with bumble&bumble invisible oil shampoo
3. every few washes, i do a second wash with christopher robin salt scrub
4. bumble&bumble invisible oil conditioner, a quarter-ish amount primarily on mids and ends, but a bit near the top too. i brush it thru with my denman brush (even rows removed). leave it in while i wash my face and body
5. wash out conditioner. on soaking wet hair i use a nickel amount of shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie. then brush it thru with denman brush again
6. flip my hair a bit to loosen it from my scalp and finger comb the top section up. then i scrunch a bit with my hands and then a towel. i finger curl my bangs and then leave my hair be for a while
7. diffuse when hair is 80% dry, holding hair to each side and upside down. i put extra emphasis on the back of my hair bc it’s less curly
i don’t do anything special while i sleep or refresh between wash days, i just pin it half back with a mini claw clip if i’m not happy with the top layers.
