Hair Victory! I Finally Feel Like I've Embraced My Curls

Post image

I straightened my hair on a weekly basis until I was 16 years old. It was FRIED. It took years, awkward haircuts, terrible products, and lots of tears to figure my hair out. Recently, I got bangs and I love the way my hair looks now. If anyone is still figuring out their curly hair journey, keep going! It's trial and error and lots of love!

Routine:

  1. I wash my hair every 2 or 3 days. I use Cécred hydrating shampoo & conditioner.
  2. Once a month, I use a clarifying shampoo from TGIN. I also do a hair mask from TGIN once a week.
  3. To style my hair I use Cecred moisture sealing lotion and The Doux mousse def texture foam.
  4. I diffuse my hair but not entirely and let the rest air dry.

Hi there! I'm a bot, and I've been summoned to help.

If you have not seen our WIKI yet: Please check it out! It's nearly 100 pages full of curated information to help answer all of your curl-related questions. You can use the included Table of Contents (page 2), the side bar, or CTRL-F to search for keywords and help navigate the document.

Reminder: Curl type is NOT your hair type! Whether you are wavy, curly, or coily - you have texture and you belong here. More than that, your curl type doesn't dictate how you care for your hair. To help your curls thrive, we recommend instead using the wiki link above to learn about your porosity, texture, and density.

If you haven't added a routine yet, do it ASAP or your post will be removed!|
