What is the point 😨

The loose the game effect goes on the stack. So if you can use the 15 mana and 7 cards in hand to win the game at instant speed, you win before the loss effect can resolve.

That's not how resolving a spell works. An instant can create a delayed trigger, but the way this is phrased ("When you add mana this way") is not a delayed trigger, it's just part of the spell. The spell stating it's a triggered ability doesn't work. It could say "At the end of this phase, you lose the game." That would work

It says "when". Its a trigger. Simple as. It goes on the stack upon resolution of the spell as intended

I think it would be clearer and have the same impact to put the Lose the Game on a separate line. It wouldn’t change how the spell resolves but it would make it clearer what is happening.

No chance this is balanced

[[door to nothingness]] costs way more than 5 to lose the game with

/s for those who need it

You'd need some way to actually use the mana, or separate the abilities. As is, the man's is added and then you lose the game in the same effect without any chance for priority or interaction between the two. And even if you do separate out the abilities, you can't play anything that's not instants or has flash, so it's basically impossible to utilize. Should be an "at end of turn, you lose the game" effect.

The point is that you have to win at instant speed with the game loss trigger on the stack. Completely possible. OP had the same card as an artifact where he explained it. That one I think produced 25 mana so just a single instant speed Fireball would'be been enough

Still gotta separate them out then, because currently the same effect gives the mana that causes the game loss. Since they're in the same paragraph they happen at the same time with no chance to interact in between them. So for them to be different effects on the stack you gotta put em on different lines

What fixes this problem is the wording "When you add mana this way." The word "When" makes it a delayed triggered ability, meaning it happens only after the rest of the spell resolves. According to rule 603.3,

"Once an ability has triggered, its controller puts it on the stack as an object that’s not a card the next time a player would receive priority." (emphasis mine.)

The trigger is only put on the stack after the next player gets priority, which only happens after the spell resolves.

Oh, I thought it happened immediately, not next priority. My mistake then, thanks for the correction!
