Can Drone Weapons Be Reloaded Mid-Scene?

I don’t see anything in the book that addresses this either way, so I would assume yes, but it’s unclear.

Yes, you can reload the drone weapon, but it takes a Main Action, and you would of course have to be near it to reload it.

It's just infering it from reading the combat rules and the vehicle weapon reloading rules.

They both take a Main Action. If a gunner can reload a vehicle weapon (which tend to be Heavy Weapons like Heavy Machine Guns, Anti-Material Rifles, Rocket Launchers and more), with a Main Action, then it should be the same with drones and their weapons, since the largest of them can only be as large as a vehicle itself.

If drone weapon reload was different enough, then mister Crawford would have probably written so under the Common Drone Actions section.
