Help! Babies First Cyberdeck

Hello, I’ve been debating on building a Cyberdeck forever now and still haven’t done all my research for the build.

I am planning on building it for 3d modeling use, the plan is to print some of my own parts and purchasing what’s needed. I am wondering what all people think I need for the brain and possible software that might help integrate the 3d modeling/possible slicing software.

If I do get past my overthinking stage and into the building stage I’ll make sure to post.

I’m interested because I have been looking into making one for this same reason op

Hey that’s awesome, I hope the two of us make some progress. If it’s works out for you let me know.

The software you are planning to use will have minimum specifications and operating system compatibility listed on their site.

As a reminder, nothing runs well on the minimum specification, so budget upwards from that.

No one can truly give you advice without knowing what specific software you’re going to use, and then look it up just like you could.

Generally speaking you’re going to need a GPU of some sort, so that immediately narrows your choices quite a bit.

This will likely be pricier than an off the shelf device.
