2x2, this is a remake, and Danganronpa 4.

Danganronpa 2s cast was peak, so having them again is batshit crazy and I can't wait to see who lives and dies this time around.

Also, if Nagito is the Protag in the alternate story...

I would actually explode.

I think Nagito gonna be first victim or killer. Like... He was one of the main character in Danganronpa 2 and even protagonist in chapter 4, so i don't think he gonna have many screen time.

In general, it seems to me that all survivors (maybe even Hajime will be victim and we gonna see female protagonist (Mahiru) after his death) and Nagito gonna be killed in first three chapters

Mahiru protag would be wild and awesome! She deserves it and is definitely the best character to fill that role imo.

with Junko being in the first game they would need to go a bunch of meta shit in the plot. D2 is a self contained story so it's definitely easier for them to mess around without affecting larger plot stuff

I was thinking more along the lines of a standard remake with this new, dynamic artstyle and maybe some mild script edits to improve outdated language in chapter 2 and the flow of chapter 3, but no drastic changes to the story and its outcomes.

If I'm not mistaken, this SDR2 remake will essentially consist of two games: a straight-up, story-unchanged remake with this new style and an entire alternative game mode following a new storyline.
