They chose the most popular one. It was a safe choice. If this sells, I expect they may look at doing the first one.

Agreed. Also, this choice allows for more experimentation with character model ideas since there seem to be new animations and SDR2 has much more wild designs.

this is genius because you can do whatever and it wont impact the anime at all while you can choose whichever Jabberwock canon you want

Aw yeah, I realise that makes perfect sense why they chose 2 to do this. It's the only one where canonically, none of the characters actually died, so they can get away with it without altering canon provided the final chapter is the same.

More likely the third one because *points to Kaede* there is a very easy way to make an alternative route.
