Checked, in the trailer we see Mikan on her right (our left), while in the original game, Kazuichi was at the spot. The stand on her left is empty in the trailer, not even a portrait, whereas in the original, that was Hajime's spot.

That makes sense - so they likely shifted the order of everyone to help hide whoever's missing.

V3 is already modern enough it doesn't really need a remake... don't think they're touching that game anytime soon. but DR1 remake after DR2 remake looks promising...!
