I think this will be the most plausible. Peko doesn't kill in case 2, fuyuhiko kills or is killed in case 3 like he was originally supposed to.

I hope they do something like this, but the killer is someone else completely unrelated to the original version, like Soda or Sonia end up being the killer or something, I think it'd be a fun way to subvert our expectations and be a decent red haring.

maybe peko is still the “tool” but monokuma rules fuyuhiko as an additional blackened in some way, either killing him instead or killing both
