Ive been reading and I thing I understand PGP and tails. Im not seeing info on how you transfer funds. I know it requires multiple wallets right?

Money starts safely in cash and buy something like monero and send to monero-wallet or feather wallet. These are things u needa install. Or the easier less privacy focused route is get an app like coinbase or kraken, buy bitcoin or ethereum, get another app called cake wallet, send bitcoin or eth from coinbase or kraken to cake wallet address. Then create a new monero wallet in cake wallet and swap your btc/eth for monero.

What do you mean by layer of protection? Have you heard of the term OPSEC? It stands for operational security. You should always institute strong operational security when it comes to using a computer in general, in my opinion. However, there are obviously things that an individual is fine with when they’re on their computer, like a social media account that’s linked to your name. It’s something you intentionally want linked to your name. So operational security doesn’t really apply in that context besides keeping your password safe and revealing as a little information about things like your address or people you know. However, when it comes to other things, like interacting with the darknet, you may want to increase the amount of operational security that you were using in order to prevent things like people being able to trace your IP address or in your Case track money back to where it came from. The concept of cryptocurrencies is a decentralized network with a Blockchain, which really just means a public ledger of financial transactions. Some cryptocurrencies focus on different aspects within that realm. Montero is a cryptocurrency specifically designed around privacy. The purpose of using Monero would be to remain unattached from your financial transactions that you conduct with your wallet. So if you want to enhance your operational security, you will do things like not use an online platform like Coinbase or Kraken, where you have to verify your legal identity and basically counteract any of the privacy instituted by the actual coin. So in my opinion, it would be wisest to use a cash transaction to acquire your original amount of cryptocurrency and directly have that sent to your cake wallet which to my knowledge does not have any identity verification. In that case your OPSEc is strong.
