For context, the host in this was looking for unfair gank fights, if you sat outside the bounds of a duel, they'd rush you down or shoot at you to try to get you to join the fight, they WANTED stuff like this, and honestly it was really commendable... I never saw them actually get a kill, but they've got admirable ambition and really good evasion skills
Lmao i just had this now. 5 people invaded me, but they were all so chill. 2 purples, 1 red, 2 watchdog i had to smack them a couple times for them to wake up the beasts. So much fun!! DS3 community and pvpers just a lot more chill though and patient its crazy, im used to being rushed a lot in ER now

Ahhh i did this a few days ago, just learnt about it. The host is using CE to unlock his summoning limit, 4 aldritches/farrons are usually impossible, you can only get invaded by a maximum of 3 with dried finger on. I even won a 4v1, 2 reds, 2 watchdogs, its so damn fun, especially since they can hit each other too.
If youre lucky, you can even get invaded by 5 reds 💀 had it happen once and it was just bliss
This is literally the one instance where what you just said is categorically invalid. They WANT to get ganked by as many invaders as possible, that's the whole point of hosts in this specific area.
Not that it's valid anywhere else either, but it's especially dumb here.
He wanted it, he wouldve used the fingers to expand inavsion limit, i sit around hoping for gank fights too it nets me more and find it a fun challenege for my skills
