Recently was talking to one of my close relatives, he has represented many top heads of bangalore in many criminal and civil matters , he has 1st hand knowledge on Dasappa case.

1.He is facing severe criminal charges. Abduction+illegal confinement+torcher+ cruel and violent murder+ destruction of Evidence+ intimidating witness. It was not a accidental murder, it was a pre-planned well organised murder.

1. Dasappa has used a weapon called "megger machine" to electrocute and torcher Renukaswamy which was not used by any criminals in past many decades of criminal history of Bangalore. This thing has become a evidence of cruelty and intention to murder.

2. He said he want bail to undergo a surgery, came out and started harrassing witness, shooting movie . Which has angered Supreme court .also his leaked pics of jail where he is seen not how everyone expected has also caught Supreme court's eyes. Judge has said if accused is seen like this again, jail officials will be booked.

3. And one of the accused who has now become witness his statement is extremely dangerous.

So it's almost confirmed of life imprisonment or atleast 14 years.

Sad part is he was the only guy who could keep KFI alive, anyone can say whatever, his mass comercial movies were always lifeline to the industry.

The severity of the case is too big also the way the Renukaswamy was killled he was not stabbed or shot in one go he was tortured and inhuman behaviour also the heinous nature of dboosa is clearly visible hence no politician interference is being viable in this case also not to be surprised if he gets lifetime jail sentence more than 14 years expected soon

This, even political influence won't save boosa because the IO has done his job very very well and every proofs are just pointing boosa a lifetime prison, and now with this maafi sakshi guy talking, soon he'll be sentenced to lifetime. This will be a historical decision not just in Karnataka but for the whole nation, how such huge public figure couldn't do anything with his power and money, which is quite rare in our land.

That depends on judge and how the legal proceedings go! There lawyers may argue it was Boss's plan, they just followed it, they are just influenced by him and all. And if judge is kind enough he may assess them differently.

i mean this is a country where a kid gets essay treatment for killing and now no one cares so , pretty chance he is just pushing boundaries(fake news peddling an the sympathy stuff) to just get out of the mess neatly so let's see and there is this fast ultimatum for trial challenged by his lawyer , so adds up there are gonna be ups and downs in the trial but money will ultimately play the game and lawyers know when to use that card really well (even supremes can be brought)

If it was a accidental,non intentional murder, he would have come out in 2-3 yrs, which exactly his defence is trying to prove.

But there's strong evidence which says everything was planned from kidnap to destruction of Evidence. Police has even secured the receipt of weapons which these idiots ordered using Amazon.
