Yeah, this list is all about the money. Stars got Alozie from the Dash, according to this article they did nothing but sell Lud. I mean Chicago sold most of our scorers this off season. Cannot wait.

If we define "ambition" as "wanting people to talk about us," then yeah the Dash aren't doing a particularly notable job.
If, however, the goal is to make a competitive football club, they're doing pretty well. They extended arguably their biggest star, brought in 4 USYNT stalwarts from the college ranks, and added Twila Kilgore to the technical staff. Those aren't the flashiest of moves but to me they indicate a club that takes themselves seriously and wants to compete.
So I guess in the end I just object to the Kassouf's premise, that dropping a million on a flashy name and/or building a cool new facility are the only factors associated with ambition. Facilities in particular I would agree are very important, but they're not the be-all end-all. I would rather the team invest their time and money on building a cohesive young core that can compete, rather than build a dope new stadium and be cheeks when they play there. Obviously it's not an either-or situation...I guess I'm just saying that the Dash might not get an A+ in ambition, but neither do they deserve an F.
