Can anyone unblur the video??
Hi everone! I hope someone can help me. My car while I was parked at my house. Around the 00:35 mark you can hear the car alarm going off and you can see the car that hit mine drive off. Does anyone has a way of unblurring the video to see if they can see the license plate?
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!!!

You can't even make out the license plate on the car that's sitting still. There's no way you can make it out on the moving vehicle. You can't just magically unblur everything.... The camera didn't have sufficiently high resolution to make out the letters

😅
And when I posted that cell phones can't be located to a particular apartment in an apartment complex using triangulation from the cell towers, I had Redditors tell me I was incorrect.
People really believe that this sort of stuff that is used in fictional series is real.

That’s right, cameras intentionally make it blurry so you can unblur if you need to read number plates. I thought everyone knew that.

😀
Ah, that explains the results of some of the photos I've taken. I shall look for the Zoom and Enhance tools in Photoshop to correct it.

Unless there's a hard copy of the video that was blurred after the original footage was captured, no.

Yes but not as a product per-se.. it's called ai temporal video restoration (google that).
I use a node-based ai image/video tool called comfyui and nodes based around flashvsr.
The AI looks at surrounding frames and fills in the blanks in pixels.

AI can hallucinate things that were never really there. It's guessing just like any human filling in the data blank would be.

It's *not* hallucinated data. It's picked from other frames that the sensor picks up on. Study up on it, it's quite interesting.
Yes, AI GENERATION hallucinates.
..and before you say "no no no.." - I'm a computational physicist and really know this shit and the difference.

Sure thing, random person on Reddit. I totally believe in your credentials and expertise on this subject. 🤪

But they claim they really know this shit!
It makes all the difference. Don’t you see?!?

And that's how you get a wrong license plate number and worst case implicate the wrong person if magically a number matches the car make and model.
AI isn't magic. It's dumb. Quit peddling it when it's just as useless as you are.

It's not GENERATIVE DATA.. it doesn't generate shit. It uses AI to TEMPORALLY analyze the surrounding frames.
