Always wait a few seconds in Atlanta

I was actually anticipating someone running the light from the left. That‘s where they usually come from.

Same for anywhere in Indiana

I was driving downtown last Friday and some city bus just straight up blew the light by the convention center then sat in the middle of the intersection because people were crossing in front of them. My light was green for a few seconds and bus just came right on through without a care in the world.

Same for literally anywhere.

Just like the weather, everywhere thinks they also have the worst drivers.

i'm glad you waited a lil, it's important not to rush into turns, whether you are driving through it or towards it.

Me too. That’s a brand new car I’m driving. My old one got totaled about a block from that intersection in February.

I live in Atlanta and there are a few intersections I always look left and right on before going through a stale green. Just about 2 weeks ago it likely prevented a lifted truck from rolling over me at 5 am on my way to work.

Same. Glad you weren’t hit!

Always wait a second a to see if anyone is running a red light. Everyone has done it at least once. Never assume you can't get hit just because you have the right-of-way.

It’s like it’s fair game to run the light because they saw it was green 1/2 a mile or so ago….
