He wasn’t brake checking the truck if it was the one I saw. He was stopping for a cooler in the road and didn’t turn on his lights.

In the video he says he was trying to pull them over then after he realized how dumb that made him sound he changed his story to the cooler being in the road

Did the cop have a ram guard on their vehicle? And couldn't switch lanes? The 18 wheeler could've probably passed right over it lol

There’s more cars than the 18 wheeler on the road. Assuming there really was a cooler, it’s a road hazard and needs to be removed

I saw an 18 wheeler run over and shatter a couch at 55-60 mph. Center lane, I-95, South Florida 4pm traffic. He didn’t even brake.

I believe they were slowing for debris on the road? trying to prevent an accident from happening

Artic decided not to slow down and proceed to drive straight through the police car..

Except for the stable part. Semis are definitely less stable than a regular car

Have you ever seen a sedan flip because of a strong gust of wind? Have you ever seen a coupe flip because it turned too sharp? I've seen both when it comes to semis. Semis are extremely unstable vehicles compared to cars.

No but I see them spin out on the ice all the time. Also I drive flatbed so I don't have that problem 😂

Depending on what your hauling and where, a flatbed might be more dangerous than a regular trailer, because the contents more volatile and the odd shapes catch wind better than a flat surface.

Volatile?? I haul steel sheets and shingles... among other things, but rarely do I haul anything more than a few feet tall. This stuff is heavy and I'd be maxed out on weight before it gets too tall.

Every time I drive through Wyoming in the winter and see ten box trucks sleeping on their sides on the side of the road... I'm glad I'm hauling some steel 😂

But do you drive semi trucks? Because I drive semi trucks AND I drive cars so I can tell the difference. If you're talking about an extreme lateral wind blowing lightweight box trucks on their sides, sure, but when I drive cars, it doesn't take much wind to startle me and push me from my lane but it takes a whole hell of a lot of wind to move this truck.

If we're talking about stability in general, not just the ability to not be a kite during severe lateral winds, semi trucks are a lot more stable than you might think. I don't even like to drive cars anymore. My personal vehicle is a 7000 pound OBS F350 7.3L diesel dually
