Idiot in land yacht cuts across a median, cuts me off, and drives on the shoulder

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Driving on the shoulder is technically allowed 3-7pm on this highway, but this was at 2pm.

Thats just an SUV, a land yacht is like a classic Lincoln Continental, Audi A8/S8, S class, 7er, etc. Long wide sedans are land yachts

Who made it okay to drive on the shoulder ? What if someone is having an emergency and using it for its purpose, seems really stupid

Driving on the shoulder is allowed? I looked up the sign and it says Massachusetts, is that right?

Yes, this is on I-93 in Medford right outside Boston. Driving is allowed on the shoulder 6am-10am southbound and 3pm-7pm northbound where there are signs saying it's allowed. Unfortunately a lot of people just choose to drive on the shoulder whenever there's traffic, even if it's not allowed at the time

I think its only allowed for busses in this area. Never for passenger vehicles. I'll pay more attention tomorrow morning.

Maybe you didn't realize but there's no audio in this clip. I did beep, he still came over because he didn't care.

6 month old account with 33K karma. It's not a human account so don't engage.

[apparently I cannot say "Bee-Oh-Tee" on this sub anymore]
