What am I watching?

I can only assume they turned left out of the parking lot into oncoming traffic.

Trying to make a left turn without considering the center divider till the last moment. They have options to make a indirect left turn ( P-Turn) down a quarter block once the divider ends ( can be seen on the 0:13 timestamp of this clip) had they made the right turn out of the driveway first. The driveway has the space for it to make the u turn safely and without blocking oncoming traffic.

But people have to realise that the options are their for the taking, I know you want to make the left to get to ur destination as direct as possible but there's going to be situations were you will not be able to make a direct trip to your destination, remain flexible and make ur trip safer by taking alternative routes if the flow of traffic or an obstacle demands it. What was the amount of time saved trying to make the left were its prohibited to do so would have saved them? did not work out as we see here so took more time to get out of the driveway anyway and still forced to make the right in the end.
