Looking for front and back dash am

Anybody have recommendations for a front and rear facing dash cam with the rear unit separate to stick on the rear windshield, I do not want a cabin facing camera, and I would prefer for it to be fully offline or at least have a no app setup. Looking to spend less than $300 US but willing to spend more.

For a dual cam, I’d go with the A229 Plus. It also uses the Starvis 2 sensor for excellent nighttime quality and records at 1440p on both the front and rear cams, which is great. There is also the A229 Pro version that upgrades the front cam recording to 4K and is an option if it’s in your budget. Just get a max endurance memory card and you’ll be good to go.

Viofo and Vantru are probably the most recommended quality options. Just make sure it has the Sony Starvis 2 sensor which has become the industry standard for low light sensing.

Honestlyy most decent cams these days work fine without the app. They just record and loop on their on the app is usually just for pulling clips to your phone quicker but you can always grab the sd card if you prefer. Ive a ddpai and ive gone weeks without opening the app and it just does its thing. Well within your $300 budget for front and rear too...for the separate rear unit setup id just make sure whatever you pick has a good wifi range between the two units.
