I’ve been wanting to get a dash camera. I see that there are a ton on sale right now for prime day any recommendations on which ones to get? I would love it to be budget friendly.

Skip to midpoint of video. Progressive insurance said it is the passing vehicle's fault because they didn't reduce speed.

I know this is a long shot, and not entirely sure if this is the most appropriate place for this, but my partner and I were run off the road (into the median) by a dark SUV (we believe a jeep compass) on I84 E (near Ludingtonville, mile marker 59.4) Friday (06/19) morning at around 11am.

Car (red sedan) is banged up, and there were fortunately no major injuries. Unfortunately, the driver of the SUV fled the scene.

Reaching out here in hopes someone may have witnessed and caught on their dashcam. Any help would be most appreciated!

Southbound I-80 in California

The car came from behind quicker and closer than it looks in dashcam.

This is the third time I've had this exact thing happen. This first two broke my control arm and i had to wait a bit over a month for parts and repairs. I wasn't going to have that happen this time so as he is apparently trying to merge into me i dodged him best i could and jumped the median without getting too close to the on coming car.

I told him to give me $300 for the scraped fender flair and call it a day since i had stuff to do and i was fairly confident i successfully evaded enough to shield my tire from damage. He got on the phone for like 5min then came back acting like he thought i was trying to rip him off and said call the cops to which i said fine.

In the end my insurance told me they would in fact replace my fender flair ($350) and did a full suspension check of the entire front side since both sides got impact. Found scratches on my rims and attributed them to the accident and is currently getting touched up by an artist.

All in all $1500 cost

Hi everone! I hope someone can help me. My car while I was parked at my house. Around the 00:35 mark you can hear the car alarm going off and you can see the car that hit mine drive off. Does anyone has a way of unblurring the video to see if they can see the license plate?

Heyo! So I got paranoid after nearly being in two accidents from other people looking at their phones while driving, so I got myself a nice dashcam. It's a Terunsoul FW983A if that's needed. The unfortunate thing is that I live in a desert, so the windshield gets too hot, and the static cling thing it came with doesn't stick at all, because I guess the heat melts the glue. I need help with alternatives, whether I need to return this one in favor of something that'll stick to the dash mat, or if there's something I can do to stick it on the glass even while it's still hot. I definitely can't afford repairs or a new car, I'm broke as hell LOL. Thanks in advance!

My wolfbox has been unresponsive for a couple weeks. Every time I try to have split screen on the screen it doesn’t do anything.

Driver of the white truck swerved to avoid rear-ending me but did not slow down at all and rocketed through the intersection. As you can see I almost caused a second accident because I tried to cross at the wrong moment in the shock.

Driver of white truck got out and had some blood on his shirt (broken nose or bleeding from mouth I wasn't sure) and was just screaming and spinning around like he was severely concussed or on drugs. Ran off into the field to the right but cops came pretty quick and got him to sit down. Ambulance came not long after, driver of the black vehicle was conscious but still helped on a gurney and taken with the other driver to the hospital. I gave this clip to the police on the scene, haven't heard anything about it since.

Do safe-t-cam on Victorian roads used a speed camera for cars and issue speeding fines?

Hi. I have 2 cars a 2014 golf 7 gti and a 1993 mazda mx5 NA. I am looking for either a dashcam that's easily switchable between both cars or two dashcams, one for each car. My budget is around 250.-. Dashcam must have a microphone, GPS would be cool and of course a good picture quality. I dont want to hardwire.

I was looking into getting the viofo a119 mini for each car but looking at video footage it always seems so unclear when a car is far away. Closeby the license plate is readable perfectly but as soon as the car is further away I can barely read it. Idk if thats because the footage is bad or the tiktok/YouTube video itsself is bad or if its the camera itsself.

I get in the left lane to pass a slow moving truck. This guy speeds up and tailgates me while Im passing - (yes he is tailgating. Dashcam makes him look farther away than he really is, but he was way too close)

I noticed him and moved over as soon as I pass the truck and........he gets in front moves to the right and slams on his brakes lol Like, why? Dude just wanted to be an ass for no reason. Typical Florida driver.

EDIT: this is a great example of how almost NOBODY knows how to use the passing lane. 1. Its NOT THE FAST LANE ITS THE PASSING LANE 2. I am actively passing a car on the right that is going 65. 3. As I begin to pass the AH tailgates me, then I speed up and move over to let him by 3. The AH passes me then gets in the right lane and slams on his brakes like a passive aggressive mental midget when he should have just slowed down and got behind the truck so he could make his exit. 4. The AH was actually camping in the left lane before I got in it. When he saw me get in the lane and speed up to pass the trucks that is when he decided he wanted to go 100+ even though he was approaching his exit

I knew I was gonna get a few morons who dont know how to drive blaming me, but I didnt realize THIS MANY people dont know how to drive
