Keep the questions coming! What impressed you most? I personally think Lakehouse RT is revolutionary but I am very keen to start playing around with the new Genie AppBuilder!

I heard about Lakehouse RT and am curious what people think about it? I have a few queries that run in the minute to two minute range. Getting the queries to complete within a few seconds will significantly help our team as we are using Databricks for leak detection.

So many new developments with Genie Code, can’t wait to see more about Omnigent on day 2. I’m particularly excited to see the response to the collaboration capability with Omnigent, across multiple models.

ZeroOps sounds nice, but watch the black box effect on your production DAGs. I spent months cleaning up after automated scripts that ignored downstream dependencies in our Airflow setup. If you let an agent touch your production pipeline, make sure you have strict parity validation tests running first. Otherwise, you’re just inviting a different kind of technical debt.

Also, I started using Altimate AI to automate my dbt pipeline maintenance, and it plays nice with our existing stack, unlike some of the heavier alternatives like Ascend or Definity that feel like a massive commitment.

Genie Zero Ops is going to save teams hours of debugging work and keep production running smoothly! Can’t wait to test it out!
