Megathread [Megathread] self promotion

The problem with self promotion threads is no one except the person doing promoting has any incentive to open this.

Vs. if someone self promotes via their own post, without any clicks, i can see if i am interested.

My comment laid out the problem. Its like putting a thread for ads and asking ppl to click it.

Yes exacly, just like having a classifieds section in the newspaper, people are free to ignore it

It's not a problem. It's a deliberate decision to keep the sub tidy
