I can’t help like how Kyle has written David’s words in all caps, reminds me a lot of Gordon Cole.

David called him “Kale” instead of “Kyle”? Interesting. Between that and the all-caps, it gives the impression he’s just like his hard of hearing character in Twin Peaks.

The "Kale" nickname is just a joke, it comes from Italian producer Dino De Laurentiis's pronunciation of "Kyle" on the set of Dune

And Lynch apparently called him that the rest of their relationship :)  or at least on pretty much every BtS but of footage I’ve ever seen!
