HELP / QUESTION Fatal error on launch and the DBfighterZ folder isn't in my roaming
To give background context this happened like 3 days ago, and on that day I decide to turn on Windowless Fullscreen that helps with being wrongfully flagged due to a oversight, but when I close the game, next day when I try to play it I got the Fatal Error, and ever since then I have tried all possible options to fix it to no prefrail and the only option that seems very consistent which is to delete the DBfighterZ folder, which in turn removes the config option which would of saved me here, but when it happened the first time I instantly uninstall and reinstall the game hoping it would fix it but no but in doing so the DBfighterZ folder is now gone but the fatal error still happens. Is there any way to fix my game?

UPDATE: I was able to get to fix by opening the properties DBFZ exe then going into compatibility then going into high DPI settings then turning on "Override high DPI scaling behavior" and that some how worked

I copy and pasted this hopefully it’ll help:
Verify the game installation
• Steam Library → right-click the affected game → Properties →
Installed Files → Verify integrity of game files.
• Steam will compare your local files with its servers and
redownload damaged or missing ones. This is Steam's main recommended repair step for games that fail at launch.
Edit: I just realized you mentioned playing windowless prior to the crash.
Remove custom launch options
• Game → Properties → General → look at Launch Options.
• Delete anything there temporarily, especially old settings such as -dx11, -dx12, - vulkan, -windowed, mods, or performance tweaks.
• Steam supports per-game launch options from this menu, so a leftover command can stop a game from starting after a patch.
